SPECIAL participates in the Public-Private Partnership ‘Big Data Value’ (BDV PPP).
This Public-Private Partnership is a collaboration cluster of H2020 EU projects on Big Data PPP launched in January 2017. The Big Data Value PPP aims at creating a functional Data Market and Data Economy in Europe, in order to allow Europe to play a leading role in Big Data in the global market.
Our project is specifically active in the BDV PPP for the domain of Privacy-preserving big data technologies (ICT-18). For more information, please visit the website of the Big Data Value Association (BDVA).
The BDV PPP engagement of SPECIAL occurs based on promised collaboration, such as contribution of SPECIAL project related information to BDV PPP monthly newsletters, their annual reports, engagement at the BDVA Summits, as well as at the yearly European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF, next: EBDVF19 in Helsinki). Further activity within the context of BDV PPP entails other coordinated events and dissemination, whereas for example, SPECIAL has been featured in BDV’s ‘Project of the week’ social media campaign in July 2018.
