Martin Kurze presented and discussed key concepts and findings of SPECIAL at the Omnichannel Exec Forum in Lisbon, March 20-21, 2019.

This conference focusses on ‘channels’ to access customers and thus their personal data. A huge issue for the participants is how to collect, store, analyse and share this personal data under the regulation of GDPR (and similar legislation). It addresses mostly decision makers and marketing managers of various industries and offers them the opportunity to discuss common challenges and, in this case, to learn about possible solutions.

The audience showed great interest and responded very openly and positively to the proposed usage of the SPECIAL tools and methods, in particular the policy language and the transparency tools. Follow-up meetings led to an in-depth exchange of positions and plans. There was a remarkable demand for ‘ready-to-use tools’ which still offer chances for customization/integration to existing IT and Data infrastructure.

An abbreviated version of Martin's slides is available from our website.
