The paper Transparent Personal Data Processing: The Road Ahead, by four members of the SPECIAL project, has been accepted for presentation at TELERISE 2017. The paper discusses ideas around the use of a log, or ledger, to keep track of personal data and who it is shared with.
It presents requirements on the infrastructure to support such a log, in particular to make the information and the ways to access it conforming with the European GDPR.
The authors are Piero Bonatti, Sabrina Kirrane, Axel Polleres and Rigo Wenning. They will present the paper at the TELERISE workshop (3rd International Workshop on TEchnical and LEgal aspects of data pRIvacy and SEcurity) in Trento, Italy, on September 12, 2017.
The workshop is part of the yearly (since 1979) SafeComp conference (International Conference on Computer Safety, Reliability and Security).
